Political ScienceWelcome to the Political Science Unit at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva.The Political Science Unit offers a wide variety of courses at both the master's and doctoral levels. Our emphasis is placed upon analytical skills that permit students to work in a variety of settings: governments, international organisations, businesses, and academia. We combine intellectual rigor with a highly varied set of substantive specialties, the idea being to train sophisticated generalists. At the same time the diverse backgrounds of both the faculty and the graduate students makes for a cosmopolitan and enriching environment in which to study.
